For me too, it’s definitely like a muscle. While I enjoy taking breaks, the ability to continue a bit longer, and push myself a bit further, gives me a much bigger sense of achievement (and increases the resilience).

I'll have to second Anton here. "The skill I work on is doing well in the bottom 50% of the time." This is a great way to put it, and a superpower indeed.

Alex Hormozi talks about how there are sunny days and there are rainy days. Ultimately, that's just life, and it's on us to do the best we can under the circumstances. Being able to do what we have to do even when it rains is an important skill—not because of productivity per se (not for me anyway) but because of peace of mind.
